Kitchen Manager


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Food and Beverage Services Management, Culinary Arts or equivalent
  • Skills in Kitchen Management, Recipe Innovations, People handling and motivation
  • At least 5 years of working experience in restaurant operations in the same capacity
  • Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specializing in Food and Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent
  • Able to cost food, budgeting, apply HACCP principles, FIFO and train line chef
  • Candidate must be able to manage inventory control system and adhere to standardized recipes
  • Can work with minimum supervision with a strong sense of urgency
  • Must have exposure in kitchen operations

Job Descriptions:

  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
  • Responsible for ordering food products according to predetermined products specifications and received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are received in accordance with the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures
  • Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures including checking and maintaining proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs
